Maine wedding season is underway! My first and favorite wedding of the season, is for a family that I have designed many houses for.
I love this family, and I am so excited to be a part of the wedding. The bride is a beautiful person inside and out. She picked William Allen Farm http://www.williamallenfarm.com for the big day, which is a beautiful venue.
The ceremony will be out in the field with the pond as the backdrop and a tree full of various size white Chinese lanterns. The aisle will be lined with shepherd hooks and hanging flowers and ribbons. I will use floating Chinese lanterns in the pond when it gets dark.

We are planning some soft seating areas, one will be upstairs in the loft and one will be just off the dance floor downstairs.
The soft seating will consist of arm less sofas, coffee tables, and a couple of mini wing chairs.
The head tables and the buffets will be these reclaimed harvest tables
The other tables will have full length white clothes and burlap runners, with mason jar floral arrangements.

These are the table numbers

The wood harvest head tables are going to have candle gardens of floating candles with orchids in them.

I also like mixing plants and flowers as table arrangements at weddings there are tons of places to decorate…I always have back up that I end up using.

The cocktail hour will take place outside. We are going to string globe lights between a big old tree and the barn. I am getting hay bails that I will cover with blankets as the seating and we will have wine barrels as cocktail tables. I plan on using old bottles with farm fresh flowers in this area.

The ceiling of the barn will be filled with light too, the dance floor is going to be high-lighted by a sphere full of light, and this curtain of twinkle lights.
The head table will have a branch and grapevine hanging display with lights!

I am so happy that this wedding is coming together. I will post after the wedding with the after shots! I hope you are enjoying your summer!
Best, Celia
