Clean in 2017

The new year is here, and it is time to get clean in 2017. Personally for me, this means taking a break from drinking, continue to workout and trying to eat a mostly plant based diet. For my home, it means putting away the clutter and starting with a fresh clean home.

One of the ways I accomplish this, is through using a lot of the white in my home. I love white, it is so fresh looking, and after all, that is what the new year is about.

Too much white can be stark or cold looking, as with everything, balance is the key to decorating with white.

In this House Beautiful kitchen they broke up the white, with a  black and white chevron rug and artwork.

Country Living showcased this white beautiful bedroom, the pine cabinet and earthenware add such warmth to the space.

This predominately white living room, has touches of brown, tan, and other neutrals to draw your eye to the white.

I also love this hallways so soft and feminine dressed in white.

In my designs, I like to use white in kitchens and bathrooms, I think we all want these rooms to feel clean and fresh.
