Last weekend, I had the pleasure of doing a winter wedding, with the addition of spring elements. I wanted to create a natural wonderland. The bride is a very attractive, simple, outdoors type, I wanted to reflect this in my design.
In the foyer, I greeted guests with two orchid displays.
The bridal bouquet was packed with orchids, David Austin roses, seeded eucalyptus, and peacock feathers.
I set the scene for the ceremony space with Quince and Curly Willow branches. I also used two of my antique columns, topped with candles and surrounded by urns filled with lavender & Ivy.
In the cocktail space I used bird & rock vases. I divided the dinner space from the cocktail space with 48″ vases full of grass, reeds, and peacock feathers.
For the dining room, I used french mason jars filled with beautiful fresh flower terrariums and finished with a shelter of reeds. I completed my vision by surrounding the jars with three mini vases, moss and birds nests.
Lastly, I decorated the buffets with urns filled with cascading flowers.
I hope you liked seeing my wedding decor, as much as I enjoy creating it. I adore weddings. I will even travel across the country to do weddings.
